PRONTO-Xi Screen Customiser lets you make sophisticated customisations to the PRONTO Xi user interface quickly and easily without writing any application code.

Customise Screen Design

Screen Customiser gives you an enormous degree of control over the look and feel of your PRONTO Xi screens – change button names, reposition fields on the screen, suppress fields from being displayed, change the field prompts, and even change the colour or size of the fields displayed. To aid navigation for key data operators, the default tab order can now be set for form entry type screens.

Screen Customiser also lets you write your own tooltips for each field and override the default messages that PRONTO Xi presents to users to ensure the system reflects the terminology used in your business.

Validate inputs

Screen Customiser allows you to further enhance PRONTO Xi’s already substantial business logic and input rules. You can specify default values for fields, declare a subset of valid inputs, and even set fields as read only. Screen Customiser also allows you to validate the use of the buttons at the bottom of most PRONTO Xi screens based on the criteria you set. This gives administrators comprehensive control over what users can do at an individual screen level, reducing errors and enforcing corporate policy.

Access Additional information

Screen Customiser enables you to access information that is typically not available on the screen that you are customising. Through the use of triggers, a screen can display values collected as the result of a calculation or values that are stored in PRONTO Xi tables not normally associated with that input screen. Also, a number of user definable fields are available in many PRONTO Xi screens. With Screen Customiser all you will need to do is unsuppress them to make them available for viewing and for editing.
